ECOH is currently implementing a food security and poverty reduction project in the Eastern Region of Afghanistan, which will conclude in June 2025. This project targets districts in Nangarhar such as Bati Kot, Kot, Charparhar, Muhmandara, and Lalpur, as well as districts in Kunar including Shigal, Sheltan, Watapur, Chapa Dara, and Dara Pech. Through this initiative, ECOH is distributing essential food supplies to 4,000 households, providing much- needed relief to vulnerable communities and addressing the critical issue of hunger and poverty in these regions.
