ECOH is actively conducting Cash-Based Transfers (CBT) for approximately 8,000 households as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance food security and poverty reduction in the Eastern Region of Afghanistan. This initiative, which complements ECOH's food distribution project, is being carried out in districts of Nangarhar, including Bati Kot, Kot, Charparhar, Muhmandara, and Lalpur, as well as Kunar's Shigal, Sheltan, Watapur, Chapa Dara, and Dara Pech. By empowering households with financial support, ECOH is helping improve livelihoods and alleviate the pressures of food insecurity for 8,000 vulnerable families.
